About Me

Priya Roshan, LCSW-S, MSSW

I love counseling and love working with adults, couples, children, adolescents, and families. I have been working in mental health since 2006. My therapeutic approach focuses on promoting self-awareness and developing effective strategies to cope with life situations which include trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and addictions. My therapeutic philosophy is eclectic and individualized for each unique client. My most common approaches include CBT, REBT, and Trauma Informed.

Together, we can work towards: Changing Behaviors; Establishing and Maintaining Relationships; Enhancing Your Ability to Cope; Facilitating Decision-Making; and Recognizing Unhealthy Patterns.

My work is broadly humanistic, focusing on free will, human potential, and self-discovery. It aims to help you develop a strong and healthy sense of self, explore your feelings, find meaning, and focus on your strengths. Client-centered therapy means you are the authority on your inner experiences.
